What is a hackathon about?
The event aims to attract not only IT experts, but also specialists, students or enthusiasts across all fields with an emphasis on interdisciplinarity. Therefore, not only technical projects are expected, but also solutions in the form of concepts, plans, evaluations or analyses.
How will it work?
What is the goal of this hackathon?
- To demonstrate the potential of making datasets publicly available in the form of opendata.
- To promote entrepreneurship among young educated people.
- Generate new business projects with business potential.
- Propagovat spolupráci mezi technickými a humanitními obory.
- To create ideas whose implementation will help improve the quality of life in the region.
- Connect academia and business together with public administration and local government.
- Create an analysis, map, application or model (even in the form of a prototype or idea) with an emphasis on business potential, feasibility, technical implementation, degree of invention, wit and overall benefit of the project.
- Enjoy a fun and productive weekend, from which you can take away not only new knowledge and skills, but also friends, interesting contacts, and material and financial prizes 🙂
